AOFAS will host its Annual Meeting July 15-18, 2015 in Long Beach, California. Abstracts for presentation are currently being accepted for this meeting.

Technical Guidelines
  • If you have submitted to AOFAS in the past you may log in with the same email address and password. Forgot password option is available. For new submitters, a new account must be created.
  • Users must use the following browsers: Internet Explorer 8+, Mozilla Firefox 4+, Safari 5+, Chrome 14+, Opera 11.5+
  • For technical assistance, please click on the 'Support Form' icon located on the top right hand of each page for support. Support requests are answered within a 24 hour period.
  • Browser back and forward arrows have been disabled. Users must use the page progress bar located at the top left of each page.
  • Inactivity of more than 90 minutes on system pages will result in a session time out. Please save your pages intermittently to avoid loss of data.
  • **Please note**: In order to successfully receive emails regarding your abstract submission, you must add '' as a safe sender in your email client. Click here for help adding safe senders. Mail client examples include Microsoft Outlook, IBM Lotus Notes, Pegasus Mail, Mozilla's Thunderbird, etc.

Submission Instructions
  • During the online submission process, you will be asked to enter the presenting author, the presenting author’s contact information, and the names and email addresses of all co-authors. Please ensure the email address of the presenting author is accurate, as this will be the sole method of communication regarding acceptance.
  • There is a limit of 500 words for each abstract (excluding the abstract title and authors).
  • A single image or table can be uploaded for each submission (jpeg or tif files only)
  • Use generic drug and/or device names
  • The Corresponding Author will receive an email confirmation of each submission after finalizing your submission.
  • Submitters may revisit the site as often as necessary to complete the submission.
  • Abstracts are reviewed and graded in a blind fashion by AOFAS committee members and are selected on the basis of scientific merit.
  • All abstracts must be provided in English.
  • Disclosures will be collected for all authors and each author must disclose at the time of submission any commercial associations or financial disclosures that might create a conflict of interest with the information in any submitted abstract. All sources of funds supporting the work and a statement of financial interest, if any, must be included for each author.
  • Alterations can be made to any part of the abstract until the submission deadline. 

Presentation Format
  • Abstracts accepted for podium presentation or ePoster presentation must be presented in English in PowerPoint format. Oral and ePoster presentations will also be published on the AOFAS Mobile App(s), and available on the AOFAS web site. 
  • Abstracts accepted for ePoster display must be provided to AOFAS in PowerPoint format for reformatting to a pdf. ePosters will be on display on-site at the ePoster kiosks, and will be available to meeting attendees on the Mobile App(s) and on the AOFAS web site.
